Jean Dreze is a welfare economist, social scientist and activist who has worked on several developmental issues facing India like gender inequality and social welfare. <br /><br />He talks about the hardship faced by the children in India due to the COVID-19 pandemic since the last two years and how the rattling the situation has been ever since the schools reopened.
